• Miles Mosby

Raised in the rolling hills of Chattahoochee, GA, Miles has been drawn to landscaping since he was old enough to dig in the dirt. With over a decade of experience in the industry, he brings a deep-rooted knowledge of plant species, hardscaping, and sustainable design to every project.

At Fortunate Sun, Miles leads client relations and sales with a friendly, creative spirit and a knack for thinking outside the box. His favorite part of the job? Helping clients turn their outdoor dreams into vibrant, livable spaces that reflect their personality and respect the land.

  • Evan Owen

Originally from Tulsa, OK, Evan’s passion for landscaping was rooted early on thanks to his grandmother’s backyard garden. With five years in the industry, he now heads up operations and marketing at Fortunate Sun, keeping projects running smoothly from the ground up.

Evan brings a hands-on approach to every job—whether he’s installing trees, fine-tuning logistics, or capturing the magic for our next reel. Known for his “let’s have fun and get her done” attitude, he’s all about teamwork and staying grounded. His favorite part of being apart of Fortunate Sun is getting to work with nature everyday.

  • Dave Koehler

This is where Dave’s official paragraph will eventually go. Looking back, I probably should have asked Dave more questions about himself, because gun to my head, I could not tell you where he’s from, what his origin story is, or what chapter of life led him here. As an assistant, these are the kinds of details I fear I should know.

What I can tell you is that Dave is cool, kind, always has a good attitude, and drives the Jackal like an absolute boss. He also always asks how my day is going. Honestly, we need more people like Dave.

  • Adrian Mosser

Born and raised right here in Austin, Texas, Adrian found her way into landscape design after years of lifeguarding at Barton Springs sparked her love for the natural world. That connection led her to study Landscape Architecture at Colorado State University, where she built a foundation in landscape design, ecological restoration & site planning.

As a Landscape Designer, Adrian approaches each project with sustainability, creativity, and intention. She blends plant knowledge, site analysis, and client goals to create landscapes that feel personal & functional.

OAK

MABRY

Mabry is Evan's loyal office companion and is always happy to lend a helpful paw. She offers excellent advice, and she makes sure to greet the team properly when arriving to work. Mabry first introduced herself as a stray, showing up in our office driveway, and Evan fell in love, to say the least. Mabry is truly the goodest girl.
As Miles’s loyal sidekick, Oak takes his job as installation supervisor seriously, making sure no one is slacking and morale stays high on site. He is polite, encouraging, and always happy to ride shotgun to the next project. Oak is a very good boy.
